The Grand Rapids Lions Club proudly presents the

Grand Rapids Ophthalmology Drive for Vision Charity Golf Outing.

Hosted each year on the 3rd Monday in June

All proceeds provide needed vision services to our community through support to:

Association for the Blind & Visually Impaired (ABVI)

and Grand Rapids Lions Club Vision Clinic at Cherry Health

Last year, ABVI assisted more than 1,000 family members, friends and neighbors who live with severe vision loss. Cherry Health provided eye care services and glasses to over 10,000 people. In the last nearly 30 years years we have helped over 100,000 people but the needs in our community keep growing. Our goal this year is to raise over $40,000 to support these charities!

Many have contributed to the success of this event, and we are very grateful to all of our supporters. To continue helping thousands in our community and to accommodate the increasing number, who have vision needs, we need your help.

This event is about our supporting those in our local community, their future and our ability to make a positive change. Think about the activities that you do each day and imagine doing them with limited or no vision. How would you read the words on this page if you had limited vision? With your help, these challenges can be addressed.

The many ways in which you can help are attached. Please let us know how you’ll support this important event.  Your participation will help the many people in our community whose lives are improved by the Association for the Blind & Visually Impaired and the Grand Rapids Lions Club Vision Clinic at Cherry Health.
