Speakers will be Ryan Leetsma and Aubrey Glick from the Adelaide Pointe project on Muskegon Lake. Their goal was to convert a 30-acre eyesore (former WW2-era tank factory, later a sand casting foundry) into a beautiful multi-use, active recreational community on the south shore of Muskegon Lake. In addition, condos, apartments, hotel, restaurant, boat sheds and storage and a full amenity marina. This will be the first marina authorized in Michigan in over 30 years.
Adelaide’s development plan focuses on the scene, setting and recreational opportunities of Muskegon Lake and the West Michigan lakeshore. Residences, public parks, slips, dining and events come together in a thoughtful and deliberate way to create an effortless focus on sustainability, design and recreation. Paired with first-class residences, accommodations and amenities, a sense of well-being for all members of the community integrates Muskegon’s past, present and exciting future.
