GR Lions Luncheon-GR City Assessor Paula Grivins-Jastifer

Paula has been the GR City Assessor for the past 9 years. Prior to that she worked in a similar position in Allen Park and Wayne Country. She received her Bachelor’s degree from WMU and her Masters in Economics from Wayne State
She will discuss the process for property tax assessments and appeals (which go on every winter-spring) , how the higher inflation rate will affect valuations and tax increases, how the Headley amendment works, etc.
