DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, Nov 3\, 2020 we will be holding a GR Lions Luncheon Meeting at the University Club at noon.  Our guest speaker is Kim Bode\, see bio below \nRSVP to Cheryl if you plan to attend by Noon on Friday\, Oct 30  \n \n\nKim Bode loves small businesses and West Michigan\, so she spends a lot of her time happy houring and advocating for both through the Small Business Association of Michigan’s Legislative Action Council and Leadership Council committee. \n \nSupporting women is Bode’s passion and she lives this by serving on the Inforum Regional Council and their event committee. She has brought in people like Tarana Burke\, founder of the Me Too Movement\, and Sarah Thomas\, the first female NFL official\, to chat with the Grand Rapids community. She is also a board advisor for Women in Defense\, which is seriously badass. \n \nWhen Bode isn’t networking and serving\, she can be found on the airwaves\, either through the ever-entertaining Happy Hour Hustle podcast.\n \n· Weird hobby: Wallpaper and remodeling travel trailers or cabins\n· Cool community engagement: Small Business Association of Michigan\n· Badass accomplishment: Being a business owner for 13+ years…oh\, and that one time 25\,000 lanterns were launched over downtown GR

DESCRIPTION:Lions Opportunities in a Virtual World event! When the world went into ‘shut down’ back in March\, 2020\, no one thought we would still be here today!  The Lions of Michigan Leadership Institute staff saw a need for Lions – how do we continue in this now virtual world!? Many Lions are embracing this new normal and many have questions and concerns. Our goal is to help provide information to all Lions to improve their virtual knowledge and to help their club thrive and grow during this unprecedented time!
