DESCRIPTION:Grand Rapids Lions Members and Families\, \nAttached is a flyer (at the bottom) regarding one of our Grand Rapids Lions Club’s new service activities. \nThis activity is designed to be done by Lions members of all ages AND their children or grandchildren\,  (over the age of FIVE\, please). \nIt is on a Saturday\, March 2\, 2019 and includes a Subway sandwich lunch for volunteers after the food sacks are all packed. DESCRIPTION:Dr. Paul Isely is currently Associate Dean and Professor of Economics for the Seidman College of Business at Grand Valley State University. He joined the GVSU faculty in 1995 after earning his Ph.D. in Economics from Purdue University. He also holds an M.S. in Economics from Purdue University and a dual B.S. in Physics and Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.\nDr. Isely’s research interests have led to many local articles and reports. Suzanne for 18 years has owned an educational consulting business that advocates for families and children with disabilities. Suzanne has started other nonprofits relating to children with disabilities in Ohio. Suzanne was on the International Dyslexia Association in Columbus\, OH for five years. Leslie has been an advocate for her son and the disabled community in Grand Rapids\, MI for over 25 years. Leslie has been involved with Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired for 20 years. She also did fundraising and planning for a special needs playground in the Grand Rapids Public Schools. She has been involved in many fundraising campaigns and committees at East Grand Rapids Public Schools and Central Reformed church. This commitment to education and the disabled led them to create this company to provide training and employment opportunities for the disabled community.
